My First Art Exhibition

I had my first art exhibition in November 2011. My aunt, which has been an artist for several years now, suggested we should have an art exhibition together.   At that time, in September 2010 when i was 18 ears old, I had no intention of taking the step from being a hobby artist to have an exhibition of my own.
But when the question came, a «yes» just popped out of my mouth. Now that a date was set,
I had a goal to pursuit and about a year to come up with a set of pictures to show of.
Along the year that passed my interest in graphic design grew tremendously,
and I understood that this was something I just had to continue doing.
we worked hard on promoting ourself, and a local newspaper took contact and wanted to make an article about us.

We opened the exhibition at the 5. of November and kept it running until the 13. of November.
As a first-timer I had a very successful exhibition. i sold about 10 out of 13 images so you can say I got a flying start.
A couple of days  after the opening date a woman from a nearby gallery visited the exhibition. She told me that she was almost fully booked in 2012,
except two periods that wasn’t filled yet. So when she asked me if I wanted a spot at her gallery, of course I said yes.

So I’ve now got a new exhibition to look forward to, plus that me and my aunt are planning to have a new exhibition together in 2013.
